Hi, I'm Gina, and I get it because I'm in it!

This is the story behind the humor. It's important for you to know the company you're supporting and the story behind it.

Here's a little bit about Funny Medical Gifts and how it came to life. I started Funny Medical Gifts when I realized that while our jobs are serious, life doesn't have to be. Whether you're a nurse, PA, doc, tech, or a med student just trying to memorize the Krebs cycle without a breakdown, you deserve a way to wear your "medical humor" on your sleeve (literally). That's where I come in.

It all started with an obsession with people and open wounds — specifically, people who were unconscious and couldn't argue with me about what the "internet said". From the time I was a child, my dream was simple: get into the operating room. While other kids were watching cartoons, I was glued to every emergency trauma drama on TV, equal parts horrified and absolutely thrilled. Naturally, I decided to channel that fascination into something useful and became the best scrub tech I could be.

I've had the privilege of working at level one trauma hospitals — where chaos is just the dress code — to the most glamorous plastic surgery centers, where the stakes are lower but the egos are somehow higher. I've seen it all, and I've handed the instruments for it all.

But in the end, Labor and Delivery is where I keep my scrubs and tumbler. After years of watching people get put back together, there's nothing quite like being in the room when a brand new human shows up for the very first time — screaming, furious, and completely unprepared for what's ahead. And I love every second of it plus I get to sing Happy Birthday EVERY shift.

I know you work hard and probably take call. You care deeply, and your sense of humor is probably a little "warped" by civilian standards. You've found your people! I'm here to provide original and unique medical humor gifts and medical apparel that make the shift go by just a little bit faster.

All of the designs you see are created by me and inspired by all of the different professions that go into helping our patients. My goal is to share my passion with you. Yes, you! So we can all celebrate our own specialty.

Who I am

I have been a scrub tech for more than 20 years. I have taken call, worked four twelves and have sacrificed holidays, family time and much more just like you probably have. I have met life friends, patients I will never forget and some I would like to.

Although we all work in different departments, let's celebrate life together. I focus on the bright side. I want to make you laugh. Show me that smile!
